What is family-style dining?
Family-style dining is different from traditional restaurant dining in the fact that platters of food are placed at the table for all to share. Each table will choose 2 to 3 entrees and 4 sides. Guests then help themselves and pass the food around to one another—just like at home. And, just like at home, you can enjoy as much as you like.
Do you offer refills?
We are an all-you-can-eat restaurant, so you may enjoy refills of your favorite items at no additional charge.
Do you allow to-go boxes?
As an all-you-can-eat establishment, we do not offer to-go boxes. We do, however, offer to-go cups for your beverages.
Does the Lady & Sons offer reservations?
We accommodate all guests of Lady and Sons as they walk in, which means reservations are not required. Upon arrival, a member of our host team will take your name and phone number, allowing us to text you when your table is ready. Reservations will not be accepted unless they are booked through the group events team.

Can I buy Paula Deen products when I visit?
Yes, you can visit the adjacent Paula Deen Store while you wait to be seated or after you finish eating to shop her cookbooks, food items, kitchen products, and more. You can also shop online at: https://pauladeenshop.com/
What happened to the buffet?
We are proud to serve up delicious, comfort food in a family-style setting, unlike any restaurant experience you’ve had before. Our southern-inspired dishes were birthed from the very same recipes that started it all more than 30 years ago! Every entree, side dish, and dessert comes from Paula’s cookbooks, and you better believe that when she visits, she makes her way back to our kitchen to show our staff how it’s done!
While we no longer offer a buffet option, our new, family-style concept is sure to make everyone’s experience at The Lady and Sons memorable. Guests can help themselves to endless portions of delicious Southern food as they pass dishes around with family and friends in a setting that feels just like your own home.
Our food is made fresh daily, served hot, and seasoned with a special touch. They say no one cooks better than your mama, but we always strive to be a close second.
What precautions are in place due to COVID-19?
We are working tirelessly in order to provide the quality of food and service you have always known and loved. We thank you all for your support and kindness. Due to city and state guidelines, we want to let you know that things may look a little different at Lady and Sons. Your safety is our top priority.
All staff members will be pre-screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to their shift and, if ill, are not allowed to leave home and start their shift. We are also doing temperature checks before each shift and increasing our already stringent cleaning and sanitation protocols. In addition, we require that all staff wear masks for the entirety of their shifts and increase the number of times they wash and sanitize their hands and work stations.
Where can I park?
We are located at the corner of Whitaker Street and Congress Street in Downtown Savannah. Parking for the Lady & Sons restaurant is all on-street parking. You will not have to pay the meters after 8 pm on weekdays, after 8pm on Saturdays, or at any time on Sundays.
You can also pay to park in the nearby Whitaker Street Parking Garage.
Is The Lady & Sons handicap accessible?
Yes, The Lady & Sons is handicap accessible, offering both ramps and elevators.
